Tour & Taste 2013

Tour & Taste is a fundraiser for the Valley AIDS Network. All money raised goes directly into supporting our mission. For more information about what we do please click on the tabs above.

To ensure that you receive a lunch and a t-shirt (t-shirts are given to riders only) please register before September 8th. VAN must turn in all orders one week before the event. We’ll order some extras, but please sign up before the 8th to guarantee yourself lunch and a t-shirt.

Tour and TasteTour:
There will be three options for the Tour & Taste bike ride. Riders will choose a 15-mile, 25-mile, or 50-mile ride. Each ride will start and finish at CrossKeys Vineyard. The 50-mile ride will begin at 8:00am. The 25-mile ride will begin at 9:00am. The 15-mile ride will begin at 10:00am. A mechanic from SBC will be available throughout the event.

Participants will enjoy a wine tasting at CrossKeys Vineyard, featuring a selection of red and white wines. Participants choosing the tasting option should plan to arrive at the vineyard at 11:30.

For those who would like to participate in the bike ride and wine tasting, tickets are $60. If participants choose the bike ride only or the wine tasting only, tickets are $50. All prices include food and entertainment. Only riders will receive a t-shirt. At registration on the day of the event, participants will receive a wristband based on which ticket option they have chosen. Wristbands will be colored and numbered, and will include name and an emergency contact number.

If you would rather pay by check or need assistance purchasing tickets, please call the VAN office at 540-568-8838.

Boxed lunches will be prepared by the Crosskeys kitchen and Executive Chef, Mike Goff. The lunches will include a selection of mini sandwiches, a piece of fruit, house made potato chips, and some fresh baked cookies. Iced tea, lemonade and Gatorade will also be provided. A vegetarian sandwich option will also be available. Lunches will be served starting at 11:30.
