Executive Director
Shannon Porter, Executive Director joined the Valley AIDS Network in January 2008. Mr. Porter has a diverse management background within the business, education, and the non-profit fields. He has previously served as President of Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity and remains active in causes related to poverty, educational access, and social justice. He holds a Masters degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of La Verne in southern California, and is currently working on his doctorate in Strategic Leadership at James Madison University.

Medical Case Manager
Housing Assistance Program Coordinator
Jennifer Kiser, Medical Case Manager and Housing Assistance Program Coordinator for the HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS) program joined the Valley AIDS Network in July 2007. She received her MSW degree from Radford University. She is experienced in HIV rapid testing, outreach, support group facilitation, substance abuse and mental health counseling .

Medical Case Manager
Program Coordinator for Hispanic HIV Prevention, Outreach and Education
Tony Sierra, Medical Case Manager and Program Coordinator for Hispanic HIV Prevention Education and Outreach joined the Valley AIDS Network in October 2003 and serves VAN's Spanish and French speaking clients. He is a trained health services interpreter in Spanish/English and worked for the Community Health Interpreter Service (CHIS). Tony attended the University of Michigan majoring in Romance Languages (Spanish/French) and is also VAN's Webmaster. Tony is currently Chair of the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Intercultural Alliance, a networking and social organization bringing together agencies, interested individuals and groups already serving local immigrants, migrants and refugees.
